HELLO FRIENDS AND WELCOME TO STARWORLD 22

THESE ARE OUR MYSTIC MOMENTS AND I AM HAPPY TO SHARE THEM WITH YOU.

What do you think of the political environment currently everywhere around you; especially if your living in the United States. It is hard to know what choices for the presidency, policies, and practical solutions one should make when the information is conflicting and confusing and sometimes even downright lies. There are several guidelines I use.

1) Stay aware of what your choices are. Do this by cross referencing various news sources. What do you read, hear and see on Television, Internet, Magazines, Newspapers? Do you believe every source? Where does the greatest truth seem to be coming from? Watch out for hidden agendas. Follow the money trail. Look for history, background, consistency. Look to your trusted outlet for political news. Find out what your community leaders are saying, your own political representatives, your church leaders. Beware manipulated popularity issues by social media and those who seek to champion their own power positions.

2) Create a healthy environment for change. Ask what political changes are being proposed for those who have the least amount of power in our American society; the children, the elderly, the sick, the imprisoned, the immigrant, the poor, the jobless, the uneducated, the homeless, the addicted, the misplaced, the lonely, the repressed, the rejected.  Focusing, meditating, getting involved could bring realizations how much of our social well being is connected to the choices being made by political powers whose priorities are less than sterling. What kind of political world would support feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, giving comfort to the sick, the lonely, the lost, instructing the uneducated, breaking down the barriers of addiction, mental illness, and spiritual confusion.

3) Inform others of what you know to the best of your ability to be the political truth. Voice your insights. Remind others to remember how important it is to connect with spiritual guidance in making choices for political leaders. Just one person can make a difference. Every great political movement for social justice began in the mind and heart of just one person. This includes the abolition of slavery, child labor, oppression of women and minorities. It also includes woman's write to vote, social security, civil rights,and  health care plus so many more. Make your voice heard as a musician, actor, poet, doctor, priest, teacher, worker, student, citizen ... find a political circle, spiritual group, social outlet where you can share your most positive thoughts and actions for a just, truthful, and protective government of neighborhood, city, county, state, region, nation.
